We are a global creative studio working for the movie industry. We have recently moved into a new studio in Los Angeles. Our team of developers, designers and producers works across three main products:

  1. Official Movie Platforms: we build movie ticketing websites for all the major movie studios and over 100 independent distributors globally.
  2. Creative Builds: we work across a range of creative projects, specializing in interactive video and fully-rendered VR experiences for music and movies.
  3. Custom Builds (Powster Labs): high-end movie-marketing tools enabling movie-discovery.

We are seeking an energetic and motivated person to serve as a Powster ambassador across the movie theater industry. This is an exciting opportunity to provide insight and expertise to support our fast-growing exhibitor business.

The Exhibitor Sales Manager will develop new business in the US and Canada. They will be expected to take the lead on Powster Ticketing, which is a brand new way for exhibitors to sell tickets. It is a genuinely different type of third-party ticketing model that has already attracted a lot of attention from the larger circuits. We are looking for a talented individual with industry knowledge, who has the drive and ambition to capitalize on this interest and build lasting relationships with exhibitors.

The Exhibitor Sales Manager will be an important member of the commercial team and will be expected to contribute to the overall business development strategy. We are looking for an individual with business acumen, flare and the vision to see the bigger picture.


About You

The ideal candidate should:

  • be an excellent communicator (verbal and written) and come across as friendly and credible
  • have an existing network of relationships with key exhibitors
  • be knowledgeable about the cinema and movie industry
  • understand cinema marketing trends
  • work well under pressure, be resilient and determined
  • be self-sufficient and keep to deadlines
  • be an excellent problem-solver and confident decision-maker
  • be thorough, and timely, with follow ups, chasing leads and maintaining solid relationships
  • be comfortable presenting and/or negotiating at a senior/executive level
  • be independent enough to drive your personal business opportunities


Essential Skills

  • Business development experience in a B2B service environment
  • Market sensitive (spotting trends) and consumer focused
  • Sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Proposal writing experience
  • Numerate, able to understand project budgets
  • Computer literate (Google Sheets/Excel, Google Slides, keynote etc)
  • SalesforceIQ or similar sales database / CRM proficiency
  • Capable of translating complex messages into succinct commercial information
  • Experience developing and maintaining new business pipelines
  • Experience selling technical/marketing products
