Digital Designer

We are looking for a new digital designer to complement our amazing creative team based in London

This role is focused on creating beautiful designs and bringing them to life as interactive web experiences. Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys a challenge and is comfortable working with video artists and web developers to create exceptional results.


**The role is a full-time position based out of our London studio. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.**

We are an award winning creative studio with our headquarters in east London, United Kingdom and have recently opened a new studio in Los Angeles. 1. Official Movie Platforms: We build ticketing websites for all the major movie studios and over 80 independent distributors globally.

2. Creative Builds: Creative websites and interactive digital experiences for movies plus social visual assets etc including innovative Facebook Canvases.

3. Powster Labs: Experimental projects to create the next big thing in entertainment. So far this has included interactive music videos, messenger bots, AR effects, and WebVR experiences.

What You’ll Work On

You will be part of our creative team of visual designers, video editors and UX/UI designers under the guidance of our creative director. Your focus will be on designing visually stunning websites and other interactive and social experiences.

Projects will include working on official movie websites, social creative, Facebook canvases and more advanced interactive web experiences (AR, VR, WebGL etc). You’ll be producing work for an incredible range of world-class entertainment clients, including all the major movie studios.

General Duties and Responsibilities

As a designer at Powster you will be designing sites and experiences using imagery and assets direct from the movie studios.  You’ll make beautiful designs that match the look and feel of the movie, incorporating your own flair into something that will be truly unique while keeping to strict deadlines. You are obsessive about design and user experience, have great attention to detail and a love for making things pixel-perfect.  

Another key part of the role is to collaborate with the team on researching and concept generation for pitches. This is a role for people who love what they do and will never be satisfied with second best. We value someone with the ability to be absolutely focused on whatever task they’re working on, down to the last detail, who takes pride in producing exceptional final results.


Essential Skills


  • Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Photoshop and Illustrator and/or Sketch.  Familiarity with After-Effects and Premiere also helpful.
  • Good understanding of web design best practices.
  • Some basic knowledge of coding (Html, css, javascript) to help you collaborate with our developers.
  • Strong self-motivation and initiative
  • Enthusiastic team player.
  • Strong interest in the entertainment industry and creative marketing.



  • 2+ years relevant experience.
  • Professional experience in entertainment marketing and familiarity with current entertainment marketing strategies is highly valued.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
